• Firm or having worked as in-house counsel in a reputable organization.

Job description
RESPONSIBILITIES (Not limited to:)
• To time. Advising the organization on all legal matters that may arise in its operations.
• Drawing and vetting of contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.
• Negotiating for contracts.
• Development of divisional budgets and workplans.
• Following up on cases filed against the organization and preparation of legal reports and opinions.
• Undertaking legal research.
• Liaising with external lawyers and the state law office on all cases filed against the organization to
ensure instructions, witnesses and statements are procured on time.
• Developing, implementing, and reviewing legal policies and procedures to ensure that they are in
accord with the existing legislation.
• Coordinating the organization’s complaint management system.
• Advising the organization on the legislation that affects the organization and changes made thereof.
• Advising the company on litigation matters
• Facilitate and oversee the Call Data Records (CDR) management procedures.
• Ensure the protection of data under the laws of South Sudan and MTN South Sudan Policies
• Dispatch the Call Data Record requests to the relevant authorities, Public Attorney, Court of Law, etc.
• Monitoring compliance with legal and statutory requirements of the organization.
• Providing oversight and monitoring of the company’s litigation
• Providing day-to-day legal and regulatory support to the functional areas covering general
compliance queries and reviews; and carrying out any other duties relating to the laws of the
country, or the organization generally as may be directed by the head legal services from time.
IT Security Responsibilities/ Tasks:
• Comply with all Information Security Policies and related documents.
• Report security weaknesses/incidents to either the respective head of department or the Enterprise
Information Security Manager:
• Must not exploit known security weaknesses.
• Participate in all forms of Information Security Awareness
• Promotion of Continual improvement of Information Security
• Monitor compliance with the information security management system requirements by the Teams.
• Communicate the importance of effective information security management to your teams.
• Direct and support your team/s to contribute to the effectiveness of the information security
management system
